HT-A9M2 是 2021 年發表的 HT-A9 第二代產品，透過重新設計低音單體，將機身改為長方形並且減少 60% 厚度。支援壁掛、立掛兩種擺設方式，並跟進 HT-AX7 的設計語彙，採用更柔和、溫潤的織布紋材質，跳脫傳統音響、喇叭給人的器材感，更能輕易融入居家裝潢之中，不會顯得過於突兀。

實際體驗，HT-A9M2 預設的音場效果是仿造電影院風格，雖然主打 360 度立體音場，聲音仍會稍微徧重從前方逐漸向用戶擴散。記者即便坐在後環繞喇叭正位置前方，卻依舊能感受到非常均勻的音效，不會感覺到後方喇叭的聲音特別靠近，而且 台中相機收購sony 這次有額外增加中音單體，使得 HT-A9M2 在播放音樂或是電影角色說話時，聲音是更加清晰。
